Large?Scale Rapid Positioning of Hierarchical Assemblies of Conjugated Polymers via Meniscus?Assisted Self?Assembly

Rapid and deliberate patterning of nanomaterials over a large area is desirable for device manufacturing. We report method meniscus-assisted self-assembly (MASA)-enabled rapid positioning hierarchically assembled dots stripes composed luminescent conjugated polymer two length scales. Periodically arranged poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) (PFO) polymers, yield dots, punch-holes at microscopic scale via MASA. Concurrent PFOs into two-dimensional lenticular crystals within each dot, punch-hole stripe realized nanoscopic scale. Hierarchical assembly achieved by constraining the evaporation solution in approximately parallel plates MASA process. The three-phase contact line (TCL) liquid meniscus was printed using upper plate, yielding an array curved stripes. creation hierarchical assemblies opens up possibilities large-scale organization wide range soft matters nanomaterials.
